ICPAU ( Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda CPA Programme)
MAT provides tuitions for all the four levels of the ICPAU Programme.
CPA (U) is a course for those aspiring to become professional accountants. The CPA (U) provides a foundation for knowledge, basic skills and professional values that allows those who transcend through it to keep learning and adapt to change through their professional career. Save for the initial years, to become a full member, one ought to sit and pass the CPA (U) examination of the institute.
Entry Requirements
Anyone is eligible to register as a CPA (U) student but on condition that you meet one of the following qualifications;
A-Level
A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least two principal passes of at least grade “D” or the equivalent plus a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 credits including English and Mathematics.
Certificates/Diplomas
Dip. Ed. & Dip. In Accounting (ITEK); UDBS, HDM,
UDA & UHDA (NBEEC), ICSA, CPS (K), KATC & ATC
(U)
Other Diplomas
A first or second class diploma from a Higher Institution
of learning/University plus a Uganda Certificate of
Education (UCE) with at least 5 credits including
English and Mathematics. If the qualifications are obtained
from Uganda, they must be accredited by the respective
government.
Degree
A degree from a recognized university. If the qualification
is obtained from outside Uganda, it must be accredited
by the respective government.
